Jamie's 20 Minute Meals

Jamie's 20 Minute Meals, many people are searching about this, this morning I tried to strip the problem Jamie's 20 Minute Meals. Do you know the details of the deal that made many people curious and want to get complete information.

20 Minute Meals ($9.99) was really the first great cooking app to appear in the app store. There are rumours circulating that it cost over $1 million to produce, and you can tell. The app comes with exclusive content from Jamie and lays out the cooking process in nice, logical, easy-to-follow steps.

Once you navigate to a recipe the main tab presents a thoughtfully composed image of what the meal should look like once you’re finished cooking, with related videos that help you with the basics. The ‘You’ll need’ tab provides a clear list of ingredients and equipment and the ‘Steps’ tab walks you step-by- step through the preparation of the recipe.

A feature that I particularly like is the little button in the top right- hand corner that lets you toggle the ingredients list to suit either two or four people.
Jamie also has a newer, free app called Jamie’s Recipes that’s been updated with newer recipes and Retina display compatibility.

The free version comes with some basic recipes but if you want more you’ll need to buy them via an in-app purchase mechanism for $2.49 per pack – each includes 10 extra recipes and one video.

If you’ve got an iPad you’ll find that the range of cooking apps and accessories designed to use your iPad in the kitchen is large and growing all the time.

On the apps front there are titles like Epicurious, a free, universal app that lets you search and display more than 30,000 recipes from the epicurious.com website. You can save your favourite recipes in the app, but you can also sync these back so you have online access too.

Another nice feature of Epicurious is the ability to sync shopping lists, called Recipe Box Sync. So, for example, you can add items to your shopping list on the iPad, and then access this shopping list in the supermarket using the iPhone version of the app.

The cooking screen is designed to let you follow the method step-by- step with the aid of an orange slider that points to the area you’re up to.

If you’re the sort of cook that likes to collect your own recipes check out Serving Sizer Pro ($5.99 iPad; $3.99 iPhone). This app helps you organise your own recipe files and, once entered, lets you alter portions in case you need to entertain more people than your recipe allows for.
